LinkedIn announced a new application called Elevate which is a social media management tool that empowers a company’s employees to share content to their followers easily.

Elevate is an paid APP for mobile and desktop use.  It is being pilot tested now with a general roll-out scheduled for Q3 2015.  I for one think this is an exciting new opportunity for companies who understand the idea that your employees are your best advocates and by offering them an easy way to share content you empower them to be your best spokes people.  As a LinkedIn trainer, I encourage management to provide their employees the skills and resources to become brand advocates.  When employees are given the respect and authority to share brand stories, real life customers and product knowledge this is a game changer for any company!

According to LinkedIn, on average, a company’s employees have 10 times as many connections as a company has followers? With LinkedIn Elevate, your employees get a steady stream of quality content to share across LinkedIn and Twitter – and help influence all of the customers, prospects, potential hires, and industry influencers in their networks. 

Elevate like other social management platforms such as Hootsuite or Buffer provide a stream of relevant content the user can easily push out into their network.  You will have the ability to set-up  topics and the content you share will be trackable just as the other management platforms.

People are 3 times more likely to trust company information from employees than from the CEO. LinkedIn Elevate makes it easy for employees to share unique insights in an authentic way that will help them build their own professional reputations, and reflect well on your brand.
